Job Description

My client is an SME with a NASDAQ listing, with a highly capable leadership team with many successful approvals and launches behind them, developing drugs from their own labs and platform, in rare diseases (both neurodegenerative, muscular-skeletal, and internal medicines). The company is well-funded with multiple years of cash runway, and a big pharma working with them.

I like this organization because the senior LT is very approachable, and switched on, they have their own labs and own manufacturing, and they have NMEs waiting to come into development - most of all, big pharma people will like that there are no therapy heads drilling for governance or taking your slides off you - you and the project team do this together - and the molecules, without giving too much details here, are from 10 years plus worth of research and very novel in nature. They are on the 3rd evolution of their type of modality. Also you do not have to be in the office 2 or 3 days a week, they are flexible.

This role is to work at the strategic, tactical and study level, focusing on clinical pharmacology and DMPK, with the role having a big voice at the table, working within study and project teams, as well as supporting regulatory with Scientific Advice and responses to HA questions.

We are looking for someone who is at the Senior Director level, who has the drug developer mindset, to help drive their molecules out of research and into clinical, as well as support POC studies in mid phase, for NMEs with novel MOAs, and using Cell or Gene technology.

The role comes with an advantageous package, stock on start, annual award, and bonus.

The HQ is based on the East Coast but this role can be done remotely with trips to site once a month not once a week and the company could consider some funding for moving if this is appealing.
