Medical Writer ** Biotechnology / Clinical Development ** Herts
Note: This role is based in the Cambridge / Hertfordshire area, and is easily commuted (2-3 days a week after Covid, home based during Covid), form North / North East London, Herts, Beds, Cambs, and most parts of East Anglia and south Leicestershire. The role comes with a great basic salary and bonus.
About the Role
Our Client is a global biotechnology company that specializes in discovering, developing and commercializing novel small molecule compounds for nephrology, fibrosis and renal diseases. The company has several programs in Phases 1-3, mostly in early development with many of their indications being best described as inherited or rare diseases.
This is a Medical Writer role and as such you will be responsible for working with cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams to translate clinical data, including trial and studies results and findings into presentations, regulatory and other supporting documents, including IBs, clinical abstracts, posters, and manuscripts for pipeline and/or marketed products. In close collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer, manage and prioritize workload to ensure deliverables are completed per time and quality goals.
For this role, we are seeking an experienced Medical Writer with a strong background in all aspects of clinical development who wants to work for a smaller incubator and drug development company. PhD/PharmD in a scientific discipline with a background in pharmaceutical/biotech industry or CRO environment or a Master’s degree with relevant exp. Knowledge of GCPs as well as European clinical trials directive. Strong written and communications skills with a high attention to detail.
