Job Description

OPTION SUISSE: Regulatory Associate Director – NMEs & New Indications

We are hiring for a major top 5 biotech and pharmaceutical company located in Switzerland, closer to the French-speaking South. The role is to work with an EU focus in:-

  • Oncology & Haematology (NMEs & New Indications / Label Expansions).

The company is seeking to hire a high performer and a rising star to be based in their R&D hub in Switzerland. The role is in regulatory development in a company where to be a strategist, you must have provided input / review of Clinical Protocols, and led either 2 new indications or a new MAA(s).

Why consider this role?

  • The ‘glass ceiling’ - you might have discovered moving from Sr Manager or Sr Prog. Manager up is virtually impossible, and now want to move up to a company which can offer a pathway to the more senior grades starting with an Associate Director and moving up.
  • You love what you do, but would prefer to have some evening time for yourself, without compromising on your wish to still be in a company known for its innovation and for having a large and decent pipeline.
  • You have examined the working life of a GRL and know this means long hours, you would prefer an EU role with peaks and troughs, not constantly high plateaus!
  • You like having accountability for the EU, enjoying the visibility of taking NMEs from EOP2 to Ph 3a/b and filing, and leading the MAA and Extensions / Label Expansions directly to the EMA (not mid-to-late lifecycle).
  • The line management are superb, focus is on empowerment and autonomy, as you will embed yourself in the therapy group and project teams.

Packages

  • The package include a very competitive basic salary, a double digit bonus and decent stock plan, on benchmarks better than most Basel or Zurich employers
  • Car allowance and Health Insurance (yes that is not a typo)!
  • The company will consider buying out losses from stock and bonus for exceptional individuals

The company is a merit-based evaluator of performance, so strong performers are rewarded through multipliers, what’s more, they have the pipeline to give you these opportunities!
