Job Description

Regulatory Director - Strong US? Are you a strong US Liaison and want to step up to your first GRL role and gain Global RA Strategy and Execution - North Carolina with Relocation.

This is a role with a mid-sized biopharma company with 4 or so therapy areas and with a long track record of bringing new medicines to market. This is not a top 5 or top 10 pharma company, but leaner, smaller, and more agile.

Note: My client has committed to do digital hiring using Skype (VC), and has a new digital on-boarding and induction training process in place to allow a smooth transition during MERS-COV-2 outbreak. During the next period, new hires will be allowed to work from home full-time, until such a time occurs when normal working returns.

The role is in North Carolina, and comes with full support for relocation, a package of measures for compelling candidates if you have an existing stock plan, and some support for colocation if you have family and schooling commitments ‘til Summer break.

You will consider this role if the following apply or appeal to you:-

  • You have worked on s/NDAs or NDAs as a US Regulatory Liaison and now want to work as a Global Regulatory Leader (for a product which you will lead for 2 major line extensions / label expansions)
  • You want to be part of a commercialization team reporting to a Development Head, not a therapy head and be the single accountable person for global regulatory strategy
  • You want to develop and use your US experience and submissions track record, to build global regulatory strategy in a company where clinical, regulatory and commercial work very closely together and are all in the same business unit team (my client is not a top 5 pharma)
  • You want to live / work in the North Carolina area, and are willing to relocate (my client will support this financially)
  • You want to work in a mid-sized company where you can be visible, accountable, and useful; you want to develop and coach your regional Liaisons and mentor your own rising stars
  • You want more experience of China and Europe
  • You want to benefit from a stock and bonus package, which keeps you engaged and also a career path which keeps you on your toes in a positive way!

If you find yourself answering mostly yes, then I would like to hear from you. We have been working with this client for several years, and know the line manager and Development Lead (PL) well. They have a strong track record and will help you establish yourself in their team.
