Note on Covid & Location / Relocation:  This role can be based in Florida, New Jersey or NYC. My client has a digital hiring policy in place so you can go through the interview process and be on-boarded from your home as Covid is still with us! Post Covid, if you live near one of the 3 locations, you can work part-remote, part-office. If you do require a relocation then my client offers a ‘Cadillac’ relocation policy, to any of these locations, and will allow you to ‘stay in place’ until Summer 2021 if you have children in school!

About My Client

My client is a global Top Bio/Pharma company with a strong (and highly interesting) pipeline and a dedicated Regulatory leadership team. Their filings are active, and this role’s product is highly active. Due to continued pipeline growth, and successful registrations, they are now expanding in a number of areas, including Regulatory Advertising & Promotional Review. 

This is an Associate Director grade role working in a fast-paced and highly competitive team for a very active product. You will be applying complex Ad Promo regulatory advice and assessment for the development of promotional campaigns and materials for your assigned products/projects in order to help ensure the Company’s objectives are met this includes DTC (you do not need prior DTC experience though). 

Although you will have full Promotional review responsibility for your own brand, you will be working with a close knit US Promotional review team, who are experienced, friendly and ready to jump in and support you as or when needed.  The cultural of the team is focused on sharing information, sharing ideas and always being available to provide a helping hand when needed – it is really an environment for collaboration!

About The Role & Your Background

You will have incisive and considered verbal, communication, and presentation skills (and know how to peer with the Legal team) and using your abilities to communicate effectively the commercial folks. You will have already experience in:-

  • Providing regulatory advice, assessment and mitigation strategies to Commercial Teams, Medical Affairs, Public Affairs, Value Access and Payment teams, and other internal groups, on all promotional materials, including concepts, disease awareness, and institutional campaigns
  • Providing solution oriented and innovative advice to meet the objectives and goals
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal customers, including Commercial, Medical, Public Affairs, Legal and Compliance
  • Integrate compliance considerations into risk assessment by partnering with Legal/Compliance colleagues
  • Provide advice and guidance as appropriate on the development of draft product labeling to ensure commercially viable US labeling upon which future promotion and advertising will be based
  • BS required; advanced degree preferred (MS, PhD, PharmD, JD) and between 3-5 years Regulatory promotional review or related 5 to 8 years pharmaceutical experience (e.g., Medical Affairs promotional review)
  • Experience providing risk assessment to interdisciplinary teams on promotional materials and activities for marketed products and strong interest in FDA advertising and promotion regulations including guidance(s).
